The Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) established a Prescribed Minimum Benefits (PMBs) Costing Committee.
The Committe was established to cost the revised PMB package as recommended by the PMB Review Advisory Committee, in addition to exploring issues of affordability and implementation.
To determine affordability, the Committee is undertaking a survey to assess members’ willingness and ability to pay for primary
health care services. The survey is aimed at principal members of medical schemes.
