- While other open medical schemes announced increases of 6.8% to 9.9%, Genesis members will see an average contribution increase of ONLY 4.7%.
- This is once again the lowest average contribution increase of all open medical schemes in South Africa.
2026 marks the 14th consecutive year that Genesis announces the lowest average increase in the open medical schemes market.

Looking Ahead
Please note that the Trustees have approved the 2026 Rule amendments and benefit enhancements. These are now with the Registrar for registration. Once finalised, details will be shared with our members.
