Rated top class in South Africa
Leading international professional services companies, such as Towers Watson, GTC and AON, recently rated Genesis as one of the most successful medical aid schemes in South Africa. In particular, the Private Choice option was rated as providing 63% more value for money than the other equivalent benefit options in its market segment.
Lowest annual increase of all open schemes
Genesis boasts the lowest average contribution increases PLUS increased benefit limits for 2013, 2014 and 2015. 2015 increases were as low as 5.3%, compared to an industry average in the region of 10%.
Networks are out
All Genesis members have the freedom to choose their own hospital, specialist, doctor or pharmacy (no networks) and are not required to pay any deposits or co-payments prior to hospitalisation.
R25 000 basic dentistry benefits
Basic dentistry benefits of up to R25 000 per annum (subject to certain sub-limits) are available on all benefit options (including our hospital plans).
Low child contributions
Child contributions are very low when compared to other schemes and vary between R185 and R340 per child per month.
