Private Comprehensive The Private Comprehensive option is designed for members who require unlimited hospital cover, at any hospital of choice*, covered at Genesis Private Rate. Apart from the rich and comprehensive in-hospital benefits, this benefit also offers cover for the in and out of hospital treatment of certain major medical illnesses and diagnostic scopes, as well as substantial benefits for basic dentistry (R25 000 per beneficiary p.a) - a separate benefit covered from risk and not paid from the member's own pocket or savings account. Furthermore, the Private Comprehensive option is for members who require extensive day to day cover (medical savings plus additional benefits). In addition to generous medical savings, this option offers members ample cover for consultations (any practitioner registered with the Health Professions Council of SA), as well as cover for medication - both prescribed as well as over-the-counter. For only R1 965 per adult per month, this option is ideal for any member who requires a medical aid that offers both substantial hospital cover, with basic dentistry and day to day benefits. You only pay R320 for you first child dependant. All other child dependants will only cost R60 each.
